Thrive Preparatory Academy: Where Excellence Begins
The Revival of Traditional Education

"McGuffy Readers" were the leading 19th-century books for learning to read, and they were known for shaping moral and traditional family values. These lessons have been removed from public education for a reason. Today's young readers are often exposed to stories that lack important values and seem to promote specific narratives.
Here's the reality: schools don't think you parent your kids, so they want to do it for you. It isn't a secret--they are saying it out loud--openly discussing sexuality and political issues with your children. They have eliminated cursive writing, exercise, arts, the American flag, and the Pledge of Allegiance, and they put their full effort into the kids who don't care to try while holding back the kids who are.
American public education has fallen to its lowest levels. For example, in math, we are now ranked 38th out of 71 nations, some of which are considered third-world.
At Thrive Prep, we are returning to a traditional education full of family and Christian values. We focus on learning, letting the parents parent, and encourage advancement for kids who try harder. We hire the best teachers and pay them accordingly. We are a safe, well-disciplined learning environment, a place where your kids will Thrive.
Thrive Prep will be open on September 5 to grades K-2. We will soon be adding grades all the way up to sixth.
